This week on the show it's the bloke that's been behind a microphone for more than 40 years. Trevor Scott got his start at a bunch of Community Radio Stations around South Australia then finally landed a payed role working for Top FM in Darwin. I remember meeting Trevor when we worked together at Hidden Valley track announcing for the Sprint Cars in Darwin and he was just as passionate about radio then as he is now. This week on the show it's the girl who didn't really have media in her sights for a career. Amanda Lee studied law early but got very board with the prospect and took a job as an production assistant with working Dog's "The Panel" for network 10. Finding a passion for radio shortly after the show finished Amanda Lee now heads up one of the most Iconic brands in Australian Radio 101.9 The Fox! The two words that comes to mind when I hear the name Billows are "Work horse" and "versatile" - actually that's 3 but who's counting? Michael is the kind of guy that is happy to try any aspect of radio. In the last 12 months he's been on Triple M Mornings and operations, Hit Breakfast for Bendigo, Hit Workday Bendigo and now more recently fill in Triple M Breakfast announcer for another market. When I asked Euan to forward me a bit of a snap shot of his radio map it took me about 2 months to actually read it all. This week on the show we catch up with radio stalwart Kevin Hillier who's radio resume is ELITE. Kevin talks about how he started working in his Dads Service station pumping gas when he fell in love with the prospect of a man in the air conditioned caravan who was playing the hits and talking between them. Kevin has never been afraid of hard work and says it's one of the many factors that will get you moving in the right direction in this radio game.
