South Australia is a great breeding ground for Radio talent it seems and this weeks episode is no exception. Mandy Coolen who originally got her break with Community radio 5UV (Now Radio Adelaide) heads up Power FM in Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands. Mandy has been ON AIR for years and has now pivoted to Content Director for the later part of her career.

Jay is one half of the Triple M Breakfast show in Mackay and the Whitsundays. This week on the show we explore those moments that have meant the most to Jay along the way and pull apart some of the shows great content that has surfaced on multiple platforms. Melanie started her Radio career at Community Radio 5 Triple Y in Whyalla hosting the Council show before moving to TRAX in Port Pirie, South Australia. It wasn't long Before Melanie got some experience with the ABC as a show producer and realized her dream of working in Radio Full time. She started working with 5CC in Port Lincoln before launching her own Pod Cast - Dream Chasers! Today on the show we talk all things radio of course but dive into the world of Podcasting where Melanie is currently exercising her creative skills, while looking for another job in the radio industry. As we know thanks to COVID there are as rare as hens teeth.

Imagine growing up in a Country town with the dream of becoming a breakfast announcer on the local radio station. Kylie Stevenson did exactly that, after doing a lap of the map Kylie now hosts the local breakfast show on Triple M Bendigo. 3BO was the readio station Kylie knew as a kid growing up later changing to Triple M some years later. Kylie is versatile in her performance as an announcer and can do either a solo music show or a breakfast show. Producer of Victoria's Super Show on the Hit network Riley Rose Harper joins me for a chat on the podcast this week.
