Today, we invited Matthew Price, General Manager of Uber Canada, onto the show to talk about his journey through the world of business and management so far. He founded our sister organization DECA U Canada while studying at Queen's, then went abroad to complete business school at INSEAD and work at Uber Europe's Strategy and Planning department before coming back to Toronto. We dove into his role at Uber, how the company is persevering through COVID-19, and much more. Apart from his career and DECA, we chatted about traveling, why students should go on an exchange program, and he revealed he has visited sixty-five countries as of now!

For today's episode, we invited Katie Rieger on the show, a former DECA Ontario Provincial Officer and DECAU VP of Operations. At the time of our conversation, Katie had just come back from working at Buckingham Palace and was starting a gig as a marketing consultant. We discussed her journey across the Atlantic after graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University and how her experiences in DECA helped land her the opportunity. In addition, Katie provided insightful tips about how to stay motivated when starting off in the business world, and gave us a look into how marketing trends have changed due to COVID-19.
