Ep 017: #choosetochallenge - Challenge yourself to flip the switch on the stories you're telling yourself

40m · Published 07 Mar 23:00

Happy International Women's Day 2021! In today's episode I'm sharing 5 different points that will challenge you to 'flip the switch' on the stories you're telling yourself about why you don't have enough time, why you don't see results in your business (or home life) and much more. The theme for International Women's Day 2021 is #choosetochallenge. It's time to choose to challenge these limiting beliefs we tell ourselves that our lives aren't as great as we'd like them to be. #iwd2021

Ep 016: Creating a business from what you're good at plus getting through "mum guilt" with special guest, Ki Wolf from Ki Wolf Writes

32m · Published 07 Feb 15:00

We, as online entrepreneurs, can appear to have it all together and most times we like to think we do. The reality of it all is that even though we have created this 'dream business' working our own hours and our own days, we face even greater struggles trying to juggle the time we spend with our family members and getting work done in our business. Today's special guest, Ki Wolf from Ki Wolf Writes (Instagram @kiwolfwrites), the "Marketing Copy Queen" knows this so well. You'll be amazed at how Ki has created a successful and thriving business in only a few months from doing something she is really good at and has done this from going from being a young mother, then becoming a single mother, then becoming a mother of 3 children. I can't wait for you to listen to her story on today's podcast.

Ep 015: Is this all you are destined for?

25m · Published 24 Jan 15:00

I asked myself this question during the week and had time to reflect on my journey into motherhood thus far and how my life looked before becoming a mother. In today's podcast I'm talking about how finding that thing that you used to be passionate about or are still passionate about isn't lost just because you became a mother. You know, you can do both. Find out how you can change the outlook of your life with your current circumstances and be destined for more than you think.

PS After I listened back to the episode after publishing, I realised I had said my late grandmother had never sold anything in her life. Her and my grandfather were actually successful dairy farmers and retired when they were 60 years of age. She and generations before them were all farmers so knew all too well what it was like to try and juggle a business, family life and trying to find a balance to do the things they loved to do. In this case, it makes me even more proud to be her granddaughter.

Ep 014: How to combine your passion and sound parenting skills and turn it into a business with Special Guest, Cedreka Baggett from Bagge LLC

23m · Published 17 Jan 14:00

You know when you think you've got it all together, along comes a 'superwoman' who is doing it all. My special guest today is Cedreka Baggett from Bagge LLC and she is the "Parental Queen". Cedreka has developed a program to help stay connected with your teenagers while teaching them the valuable life skill of cooking. She has also developed a line of designer, custom aprons with original designs created by her artistic teenage daughter. Cedreka has been in the US Navy for 15 years now and was deployed for 3 very long periods of time during her oldest child's first 4 years of life. Be inspired by Cedreka's story and her passion for business, her career, her family and taking care of yourself, as a priority.

Ep 013: What 12 years running your own business as a work from home mother looks like

36m · Published 10 Jan 23:00

As at January 1, 2021, I celebrated 12 years of being in business for myself as a work from home mother and entrepreneur. Little did I know 12 years ago that I'd be as successful as I am today. Setting up a solid foundation and simple systems to help me grow my online business is what got me where I am today and helped so much when I had life problems pop up during this time. I'm getting raw and candid on today's episode and I apologise in advance for crying (when I didn't think I would).

Ep 010: How to keep your business thriving when you need to take time off

21m · Published 13 Dec 15:00

There can sometimes be unexpected circumstances when we need to take some time off from our businesses due to illness, family issues or at holidays, family vacations etc. It would be easy to hand daily operations over to a Virtual Assistant but that costs money. Find out how I can find time for a break from my business while it still thrives. (And I've been doing this thing for nearly 12 years now!)

Ep 009: What work I do in my business on a daily basis as a stay at home entrepreneur

23m · Published 06 Dec 15:00

Everybody's work from home experience is different. I can remember those early days of being my own boss with a 4 year old and 2 year old and they certainly look different to a typical day today. With teenagers I have a lot more time on my hands but that doesn't mean I'm working 9 to 5 in my business. I take plenty of time out for myself to enjoy life and do my own thing. Find out in today's episode what I do for my profitable and sustainable online business. If you'd like to know more about the free "Make Money Now" download mentioned in this episode, click here.
