S1E3 - Fitter (not fatter) social work

16m · Published 27 Jun 05:48

I will face it. I used to be very unfit as a social worker. There were just too many cookies lying around, biscuits, and hot chocolate. I convinced myself that I was too tired and too lazy to exercise.
But the day came when I looked at myself in the mirror as I was getting yet another biscuit ... and I realised that something needed to change.

Today, I speak to Nicholas, a fitness coach at https://www.instagram.com/nickngyuheng/?hl=en. He helped me to lose 9kg over the lockdown! Let's hear his simple tips to fitness.

S1E1 - Finding your voice

24m · Published 19 Jun 08:20

As social workers, it can be scary to speak up. In the meetings we are in, the clients we meet, and the supervisors we speak to, speaking up with our voice can be scary.

But in times like these, we need to find our voice, understand our voice, and use our voice.
