Interview with Terence Williams | The Transforming Lives Podcast

1h 6m · Published 15 May 02:01

It’s a double hitter this week. My first guest is Terence Williams. Part 2 happens Thursday  He is born and raised in Oakland, Mississippi, I graduated from the CHS class of 2011. Afterward, he went to Mississippi State University to pursue a degree in Software Engineering. While there, he learned how to develop mobile apps and began to self-teach himself. By his senior year, he created an app for the university and won a WWDC scholarship from Apple. That app also awarded him an opportunity to meet President Obama. Since then, he has worked in Memphis, Atlanta, and he is now currently in Houston working for a San Francisco company. He has been invited to Amazon, Google, Instagram, and Microsoft offices. He is currently on a mission to inspire others, create dope software, and tell his story in the process.
