We sit down to hear all about her YouTube journey, how she got started with zero video background and why she dedicates so much time to video! About Ashlyn: Ashlyn writes well-appointed words for creative women as a copywriter & calligrapher. She left her job as a publicist to go full-time with her calligraphy biz for brides--and realized there were lots of creatives fumbling with their message and sales copy (you can take the girl out of the PR agency ... ). This week's guest is Larry Marshall, a fantastic wedding filmmaker based in Indianapolis, IN. Larry has been filming weddings for 5 years and has been a 1st and 2nd Assistant Camera (AC) for feature films, short films, and commercials since 2009. In this conversation we nerd out and discuss a ton of great stuff, including how we got started in video, the filmmakers who inspired us when starting out, Larry's adventures using Canon, Sony and Panasonic cameras over the years and even share some thoughts on the future of wedding filmmaking. Those of you who know me are well aware that I love the technical side of things, but honestly it's rare that I'm able to have conversations with people who share that passion equally to me. Audrey is a Norfolk based wedding photographer who we've worked with on two weddings in the past, and have a few more together this summer!
