What do you mean, seek FIRST the kingdom of God? That was my question when I was going through some very difficult times in my life. I thought it was WEAK to sit still and let God fight your battles... I was wrong! God turned my entire situation around. 

There is STRENGTH in sitting down and listening to God! He will DEFEND you and give you WISDOM. 

 True POWER is knowing who you are with God! 

Matthew 6:33 (NIV) 

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well!” 

What do you mean, seek FIRST the kingdom of God? That was my question when I was going through some very difficult times in my life. I thought it was WEAK to sit still and let God fight your battles... I was wrong! God turned my entire situation around. 

There is STRENGTH in sitting down and listening to God! He will DEFEND you and give you WISDOM.

It’s time to let go. Sometimes in our efforts to help others, we prevent God from allowing them to be trained! 

If you do not learn how to let go, and allow others to carry their own loads, then it’s going to be difficult to focus on the areas God wants you to focus on. There is an enormous difference between a LOAD and a BURDEN.

 “We are to carry each other's burdens...but each person should carry their own load.”

Elisha prayed to the Lord to “open his eyes so that he may see.” (2Kings 6:17) NIV. When his eyes were opened, he saw the hills filled with horses and chariots of fire around them. 

The servant had no idea that all along, God’s army was there… surrounding the army sent to attack them.

Let’s pray for God to open our eyes so that we can stand with confidence and know that God will deliver us from all our enemies!
