Saying No with Soul

38m · Published 14 Oct 12:00

Saying no from a place that is soul-aligned isn’t solely about the technique.

It’s about the energy.

And once we get the energy in place, then we can approach saying no from a place the feels good and is true to our wants.

When our no comes from the soul, it’s better for everyone involved.

Because it lets you own your truth and gives others the chance to live theirs.

If it’s a no for you, then that’s the best response for all (even if others don’t see it that way).

Because we’re in this Universe, together.

And what’s true for your soul is not only best for you. It’s best for all.

This episode will help you say no by giving you a step-by-step process to follow that covers the energy and the technique.

Intuitive Decision Making

33m · Published 07 Oct 07:00

Decision making that is aligned with our true self does not come from a pro and con list or doing tons of research.

It comes from connecting with our intuition.

And when we use our intuition to decide, we're taking a heart and soul-based approach as opposed to a mental one.

This is contrary to popular opinion.

Often when making decisions, the heart is shrugged off, and it is replaced with logic and rationale.

And yes, logic is important, but it is a supporting character.

Our heart is meant to lead the decision process.

When we decide from the heart, we're not talking about relying purely on emotions to tell us what to do.

Instead, we're dropping into ourselves and connecting with our inner wisdom, that soul guidance inside.

This is where we decide from a place that is aligned with ourselves.

In this episode, you'll get details on what this can look like and some ideas you can apply to strengthen your own connection with that inner wisdom so you can call upon it when it comes time to make decisions.

What Effective Communication Requires

30m · Published 23 Sep 07:00

Effective communication at work isn’t about having the perfect words.

It’s about trusting yourself and trusting that the message will come through.

When we know how to trust ourselves, the words will flow.

In this episode:

  • You’ll learn about the true foundation of effective communication.
  • We’ll cover how to identify when you are (and aren’t) approaching communication effectively using personal, real-world examples.

When we don’t trust ourselves to be able to communicate, we’ll often overcompensate by memorizing scripts verbatim.

This creates a false confidence – we believe we know our stuff (and we do), but we base that belief in the script – not in who we are as a person.

The external focus means that even if we succeed, we don’t feel like it came from us. We think it was the script.

It creates a dynamic where we have to continually over-prepare, and where we feel like if we get off track or forget what we rehearsed/planned, we’re sunk. We go blank, and we don’t know how to access our wisdom within.

If this has been your way, you’re not alone. I’ve been there. And you can shift it.

Listen to this podcast episode and you’ll leave with a better understanding of how to communicate from a place of inner alignment and trust.

Time Management

44m · Published 16 Sep 07:00

In this episode, you’ll learn all about time management. We’ll talk about:

  • Three questions to ask yourself to help you better manage your time
  • How to approach your to-do list in a way that builds momentum
  • Your relationship with time and how to manage it from a place of trust

Spoiler alert: Great time management is less about the tactics, and more about the way you approach your time. Because you can’t strategize your way out of a bad mindset about time. If you’re feeling lack or bitter about time, then that’s the relationship you’ll cultivate and no matter what strategies you implement, the end result will be lackluster.

So listen to this episode and learn to manage time from a place of abundant flow that allows time to work for you.
