Dude From Los Angeles Podcast

Julio Trejo and business partner (and wife) Janie Fainsan officially launch a “virtual” beer brand called “Cerveceria Mundial” (“Global Brewery” in English). The company was founded in East Los Angeles, CA in 2018. Its mission is to produce incredible California-made beer, with an Angeleno perspective spiked with a little “east of the LA River” multicultural/multilingual flavor. The brand will showcase local music, art, food and life that represent the Angeleno experience. It will focus on Mexican AND American culture in English, Spanish and ‘Spanglish.

Stephen Martinez from the Mega Man podcast came through the Dude From LA studio to drop one of the best podcasts, what a guy. We had a great conversation about everything, make sure to follow him on instagram @themegamanpodcast and listen to his podcast he is racking up some great shows.

LA Beer Maiden is a craft beer Blogger and enthusiast of the world of fine beers. I wanted to get her on the podcast and talk bout her views on craft beer plus that its like being a girl in taproom full of bearded men sipping on suds.

Chola Orange, is band out of La Puente made up of Noah, Art, Kris, and Greg and they are producing some of the most unique blend of genres type music. The best description for their sound is as written in an OC Weekly article as “psychedelic, space-funk, video game, horror movie soundtrack that you remember dreaming about in the future”. They were a fun podcast and our conversation went like how their music sounds, a long stream of topics strung together into something super fun and totally Chola Orange. Deysi Serrano is the owner of Milpa Grille, one of the best new restaurants in Boyle Heights dishing out traditional MesoAmerican cooking. She was one of the best people Ive had the opportunity to talk to and the convo was super fun. We talked about life and what led her to opening up Milpa Grille. Aurelio and Tania are the duo behind the the upcoming brewery in San Dimas CA called Feathered Serpent. I was lucky enough to talk with them about the process of taking an idea of running and owning a brewery to actually having one built.
