Disco-pop queen Chase Zera returns to the studio to discuss four newly mixed versions of her funky dance track ‘Jealous’, originally released in 2021. On the first remix by Go Freek the track gets a tech-house makeover and further pushes the song into the dance realm. Go Freek's remix is the first of four from Chase's forthcoming remix EP, with further mixes coming from JOY., Groove City and Casual Connection. Chase will be releasing a remix each week until the full EP drops at the start of April.

We manage to catch superstar British DJ Joel Corry in his hotel lobby for a chat. We hear about what he's been up to on his current Australian tour, and his new single 'What Would You Do?', a collaboration with David Guetta and featuring Bryson Tiller

Encapsulating the essence of being young and in your 20s, as well as capturing the hangover of sadness and thrill to do whatever you want to feel alive, Rya Park brings us her new track ‘Generational’. The track follows the success of its predecessors ‘NYE’ and ‘SAD’. Teaming up with her bestie and producer Sam Phay for her new single ‘Generational’, the pair wrote the song on a hot November night on which Rya was still feeling the unavoidable and depressing aftermath from a big night out. Finessing the track was Temper Trap’s Toby Dundas, who played drums, helping to bring the song to life. Rya’s music regularly explores themes of mental health, something the artist has dealt with for many years. More recently she has taken time to reflect, using her music as catharsis and moving into a healthier, more positive direction, leaving some of those insecurities behind for now.

Asbjørn returns to discuss the latest single STB x Boyfriend from his new EP Boyology. Melbourne singer songwriter Thea FitzGerald returns to discuss her newest single 'Way Up', from her newly released Falling Forward EP. A more sombre song about her relationship with her grandmother, the song expresses regret about the early years in their relationship and her feelings of loss over her grandmother's passing.

Zain Mitchlan joins us to talk about his latest single, Let It Out. From becoming part of Australia's ‘The Voice’ 2018 competition to his music, Zain seeks to bridge the gap between the straight world and the LGBTQ+ world. He feels it’s time for us all to embrace the fluidity of identity; to celebrate the differences but to acknowledge the similarities. Zain Mitchlan believes artists and the mainstream can create magic that reaches a huge audience. And he wants it to be happening here in Australia, not just overseas.

Matthew DeCelis from the indie pop duo Dekleyn  joins us to discuss their first single for 2022 'Save My Name'. Teaming up with Mark Zito (Fractures) once again on co-production, the song shows the duo reaching new heights with their brand of melodic, clever indie pop that uses precision and subtlety to create moments of pure musical richness. Dekleyn’s new single ‘Save My Name’ is out now.

Bill Calder joins us to talk about his documentary Star Man, screening at the Mardi Gras film festival as part of the Oz Doc Shorts event. Star Man explores the life and legacy of Michael Glynn who founded The Star newspaper in Sydney, a publication which continues today as The Star Observer.
