This interview I get to sit down with an old friend (Highlifeflo) who has had passion for the music industry since the day I meet him. Highlifeflo is a Engineer from the South San Fransisco, California. I've had the pleasure of knowing him and watching his career grow over the last 10 years. From the old days of being an artist to today where he is a Platinum Recording Engineer on his work on "Valentino" by 24kGoldn. Highlifeflo tells you a whole bunch of information on his mindset and what he sees other artists to right that has made them successful. He is someone that has spent many hours working on his craft and he is just getting started. We talk about everything on how he built up a thick skin, how to chase after your passion, and how to treat your music career like a professional business from the start. In this interview is a ton of knowledge from someone who is has been successful on what it takes to grow as an artist and may be the information you need to take your career to the next level.

In this Interview I get to sit down with North Carolina Native Clyde Kelly. If you can't tell off his latest project music is a Side Hustle for while he still has his job. Even though it is a side hustle for him he has been pretty successful in his hustle he has over 17 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, has been featured on Gary Vanderchuck's Daily Vee (Gary Vee), and has songwriting credits on BTS latest single "Black Swan" of their album "Map Of The Soul: 7." Had a great time sitting down and talking about his start with music and what made him decide that this was something that he wanted to take more seriously. How he was able to pursue a graduate degree while making music and what it was like to move all over the country to pursue both his music and his professional life. He is someone that has found success in many fields and has given a lot of knowledge for everyone to learn from in this interview.

In this interview I got to sit down with someone who is a straight up hustler! Even though he works a 9-5 Yenoh still finds time to upload content every day (with a plan), works on his music, and finds opportunities to learn more about his craft. He has a podcast called Against the Flow that where he does what we do in this interview and interviews artists about their story and how to do better. Not only that but he does get to make a lot of content across all of his platforms. We haven't event gotten started on his music, when I called him on for this interview he was in the process of putting the finishing touches on his new single. He is an EDM producer that has much promise and makes music that I love to put on when I want to focus on my work. The melodic and soothing music he makes is good enough fo anyone to enjoy. We also get to talk about how influences like Gary Vee and others have helped him create a mindset that will only compound into a great career for him in the future.

In this Interview I get to sit down with Sacramento Rapper Chuuwee who has been in the game for 10 years now. Was a great interview because we get to talk about his experience with deals and the music industry. We get to share out knowledge of whats in certain deals and the pros/cons of each. One tip I want to give right away is to take the time to do your research and the fact that you're watching this interview puts you ahead of the game. We also talk about marketing and his creative process. The channel has gone international! This time I got to sit down with Toronto Native Hip-Hop Artist Harris. This guy has a personality that you can't over look because he is just so genuine. This interview we get to talk about his start in music and why he ended up taking a break. We got to talk about his brief but important run in with Drake that inspired him to get back into music. We talk about his background and how the hip-hop genera has help him talk about his experiences. On a bigger note how the hip-hop genre has been able to help people of oppression come together and relate their struggles. We talk about how Toronto as a city and the Toronto Music Scene has changed since big figures like Drake, The Weekend, and Nav have came out of there. Lastly we get into a talk about marketing, and what certain artists should do to help get their music out there.

ITS ABOUT THE MARKETING! Had a lot of fun sitting down and talking with rapper Albusta. The majority of this interview is based around marketing and Albusta has spent the last year focusing on the business side of his music career. He talks about his path with that and how doing that has changed his mindset and is path in music. He drops a bunch of knowledge on his brand and creating everything about it during his redesign. We talk about the steps of taking somebody from knowing nothing about you to becoming a super fan. How to get someone on that level and how to get them in the funnel. Also the importance of marketing to make sure that people can find you and finding out about who you are. I get to sit down with Alfha Bliss who is an artist that works hard on his music and beaks many genres, but don't make a mistake he has a voice of an angel. We talk about a bevy of topics in this interview from his journey and how he built gratitude coming from a right place. Talk about how performing is the only art form where you need the audience to get better. Confronting your fears of performing in front of an audience and how to build that thick skin that every artist needs to build in order to get far, all while sharing some embarrassing stories along the way. Lastly we go deep in to music marketing (my favorite topic) and how he has spent the year of 2019 studying music marking and how it has paid off in his music journey. The importance of Tik Toc and how every now and they you should take marketing into account when you are in the writing process of your music. In this interview I get to talk with EDM Producer and DJ Yetep. We get to talk about the process of creating his EP that will be coming out in the near future. He talks about he feelings towards it and how he is not worried about the numbers just happy with the music he made and just wants people to hear it, which is a topic I think everyone should listen to. We talk about the Importance of play lists and how he has built relationships in the past. The quality of music is a topic that is brought through out the interview because quality of the music that you are making will be able to take you far. We talk briefly about the ways he has gotten his music out there and how he has his social media on point. There is always a myth out there that people feel that you need to move to LA in order to get your career to take off. We discuss why that may be you procrastinating and why you don't need to move too LA. Lastly Yetep gives you a step by step plan on become an artist on the right path. In this interview I get to talk to Ghloom a DJ and Producer who is on his path to creating great music for every. We first talk about his story as a DJ and how he went from be Pre-Med at Brown University to pursuing music after receiving his bachelors degree. He went from feeling unfulfilled and that he was living life for someone else to a life that he wakes up excited to pursue. But that doesn't mean that he is not working hard in his pursuit of music. He has a lot of discipline and organization when it comes to his music, his sets, and his goals. We talk about he he sets his goals to not be benchmarks about numbers or anything results based but to be centered around work goals. For instance instead of setting a goal of hitting 1k followers his goal is to post every day. With those kinds of goals he is more likely to have success and more long term momentum in his music endeavors. Lastly we talk about knowing you why and how that is import to break though those brick walls when you're first getting started.

I get to sit down with a fantastic producer in Selam Sound. I met Selam when we both went on to an event put on by the Grammy Award Winning Producer !llmind. He has great beats and during the event he had great questions on the importance of moving his career forward. We followed up on how he has been using his network to help him great new pieces of art. We talk about his process and how he wants to take his career to the next level. We talk about his goals and how he wants to reach them in the next couple of years. As a producer we talked about releasing singles under your own name and when is the right time to do that. Lastly we talk about marketing and how to take advantage of certain tools in order to get your music out in front of a different audience.
