Since 2004, Gotham Lab has provided multimedia and translation services to an array of clients, including: HBO, Disney, Viacom, Sony, Buckingham Palace, The U.S. Department of Justice and NYSE to name a few. 

Prior to forming The Gotham Lab, Philip was a recording engineer at Systems 2 recording studios in Brooklyn, NY, world renowned for their recordings in the jazz and classical genres. Lizzy Shannon is an author with range. Anything from Celtic mythology to hard sci-fi to autobiographical fiction.  Starting out as a library assistant in a Northern Irish rural town, she moved on to study Theater Arts and Literature in London, and toured the United Kingdom as a professional actress.

Having grown up in Belfast, Lizzy's latest novel is set amidst the worst era of Northern Ireland's 'Troubles' in the 70's, and based on true events in her life.

?She is currently working on translating her Great-Uncle Ernest Blythe’s memoirs from Irish into English for his biography.

Alex Jacobi started work as an audio engineer and music producer in 1995. He switched to audio post production and voice recording in 2008 and founded the casting company sprechersprecher.de in 2010. Today there are 27 people working on over 1500 productions a year in 40 languages.

Will voice over really be replaced by text-to-speech in 5 years??  Yikes!  BUT - there will always be a place for VO, if you can tell a story. Phew!
