Epically Geeky Show

On episode 1, we came up with some truly horrible Hallmark ornaments. This time we're taking the high road and coming up with some awesome ornaments we like to see on our Christmas trees. Since it was just "The Three Stooges" on this week's show, we also wondered a bit in our conversations and discussed our thoughts on the state of geeky properties. It's the holidays so you know what that means, Charlie Brown specials. While most of Chuck's holiday specials are considered classics, let's face it, they are a little dated. Like, a lot dated. In the spirit of those great cross over episodes, the group came up with a few cross overs we would like to see. We're getting our peanut butter all mixed up in our chocolate and hopefully producing some epic cross overs of our own. What happens when the Ninja Turtles meet the Power Rangers? When Scooby and the gang meet a real ghost, who are they gonna call?

We continue our month long Halloween celebration by giving some classic children's books and fairy tales a little monstrous flare. Think Pride and Prejudice and Zombies but for your kids. What happens if you give a Rancor a Jedi? Could the Little Engine survive a zombie horde? How would Dracula get you to eat green eggs and ham? All of these questions will be answered plus Cy gives many of these future classics a dramatic reading that is one for the history books.

As Lanie would say, "it's the most wonderful time of the year." To kick off our month of Halloween, the group got together and shared our personal ghost stories. While some of us have never had a paranormal experience, others have been through hauntings, a possible exorcism and even a full on poltergeist. Grab your blanket and a flashlight, turn out the lights and let's tell some ghost stories.

Summer is over which means blockbuster season is also over at the theaters. Just kidding. The 2016 summer movie season is over which means the Summer Movie Game has also come to a close. This year was very underwhelming for many movies, like Ben-Hur and The BFG, while others did quite well, like Finding Dory and Captain America.
