Have you ever sat around with your friends and determined who would be who in a given movie? Sure you have, everyone does. This week, it's our turn. We chose some classic geeky movies and as a group, figured out who would play who... even the members that didn't make it on the show. So who would Cy and Eugene be in Star Wars? What characters best reflect Lanie and Kris in Lord of the Rings? Which Avengers best represent Ray and Jay? But more importantly, who would Rudy and Louis be in the Harry Potter Universe?

The medals have been awarded, the torch has been extinguished and the 2016 Summer Olympics have come to a close. Several Olympic and world records were broken and mankind has tested the boundaries of what is physically possible... at least for us mere mortals. But if super beings were allowed to compete, it would be a whole different game. This week we discuss which heroes and villains we would like to see compete in the Olympic games and how the events would have to change just to accommodate thier powers. And no, it's not going to be Superman vs fill-in-the-blank for every event.

House hunting shows are all the rage. Tiny houses, vacation houses, houses in foreign countries most people would never consider. So we decided to do a little house hunting ourselves... but in fictional universes. Given the choice, would you choose a family friendly fixer-upper like the The Burrow which is zoned for a great school like Hogwarts or perhaps a roomy castle in the Mushroom Kingdom with quick commutes to work via warp pipes? Perhaps a mansion on the outskirts of Gotham with a really nice finished basement?

Waiting in line. There have been countless studies done on the psychological effects standing in line has on a person and they all say it sucks. But some times it doesn't. Some times you get to know the people around you and waiting for those tickets or item to go on sale becomes part of the experience. This week we share our fondest memories of waiting in lines to get new games consoles, movie and concert tickets and even rides at Disneyland. You can probably guess who enjoyed the lines at Disney.

Everything old is new again. Last year Jurassic Park came back to life with a sequel, Ghostbusters is getting a reboot this year and filming on a new Power Rangers has started. This past weekend our friends up north celebrated Canada Day as we celebrated Independence Day. To get in the spirit we discussed our favorite patriotic movie scenes, US and Canadian, and why they stir our feelings of pride in our countries. Needless to say, Canadians view patriotism a little different than US citizens do; a lot less explosions are involved. So display your Union Jack and Old Glory proudly. North 'Merica!
