49m · Published 04 Nov 00:00

Quote: Home is not a place or a space, it’s a feeling.

This episode we have a wonderful special guest, Emilola Shyllon. We discuss practical tips and the importance of spicing up your environment for harmony and mental wellbeing.

Emilola is a lover of life-giving words and creating interior spaces to enhance people’s wellbeing. She is a Christian woman, wife, mother, author, lifestyle edit and interior stylist.

She has authored two devotional books.

Across the broad spectrum of her day job, ministry and business, she wears many hats, not unlike many women and that, has caused her to really value the impact of our surroundings on our wellbeing, productivity and sense of purpose.

She has over 19 years of helping family and friends create an oasis of peace starting with what they have and building on that.

A home is not just a place or space, it’s a feeling! That feeling which results in confidence or increased confidence for a person to go after their dreams is what Emilola can help deliver.

Great Friendship Traits

28m · Published 13 Oct 23:00

"They may forget what you have said, but they will never forget how you made them feel!" is an amazing quote by Carl Buckneer that we believe helps solidify the topic of this week's episode all about cultivating great friendship traits.

Through this episode we have an interesting discussion on how to foster and put quality and intention in to developing meaningful and healthy friendships.

Do you find that you may have to tip toe around certain people and some times cannot be your authentic self. Or have you had to navigate through toxic relationships in order to interact with certain friends or dare say have been the toxic person in a friendship???? Think we have can all relate to managing the complex dynamics of relationship building in the realm of friends.

Take a listen to what we found to be a really exciting chat.

Mindfulness on the Journey to Health & Well-Being

36m · Published 22 Sep 21:00

We’ve received an outpouring of love and engagement with the current Health and Well-being series during the month of September. We bring this current series to a close on a peaceful note where we learn how to be more present by showing more care to ourselves and each other through exploring Mindfulness as a practice and as a way of life.

This week’s episode is a special treat where the amazing Annie Stoker joins us during our fourth installment of our Health and Well-being series with a focus on mindfulness.

Annie shares one of her favourite mindfulness quotes “Ego says: “Once everything falls into place. I will find peace.” Spirit says: “Find peace and everything will fall into place.”

Annie is an author, trainer, Transpersonal Psychotherapist, mindfulness coach, horse rider, adventurer and loving friend.

Annie started her journey into studying the mind 25 years ago when serious illness forced her to abandon external travels and plumb the depths of her own psyche instead. As soon as she was well enough Annie continued studying everything from naturopathy to psychotherapy and most things in between.

She started applying her knowledge of the mind to the realm of business and created a six-figure income in her first solo year in business. She also coached a women’s property investing group, having created a portfolio of 14 properties in 3 years.

She has run workshops in various aspects of mindset mastery for individuals, couples, property investors, share traders, public speakers, coaches and women leaders on three continents. She has been featured on tv, radio and in print and had the great honour of coaching Dr Joanna Martin’s clients in various programmes over the last nine years. She is Director of the Life Training Institute and now also a collaborator, trainer and head of coaching for One of Many.
