Afghan Kid
by MokhtarA collection of my life experiences growing up in Afghanistan, becoming war refugees in Pakistan, and eventually settling in the United States. This world is built upon stories, and our stories make us human. I speak of my childhood experiences in Afghanistan in an unscripted formate to tell my past's truthful stories. My experiences are not singular but shared by many other Afghan kids who are suffering similar traumas. This podcast intends to create a voice for the voiceless. I am on a self-journey of healing in search of truth, and my truth is the experiences of my past.
