9m · Published*Explicit Language*
We are constantly told to be positive, to think positive, to live positively. Many people will tell you that being positive is the key to happiness and living the best life ever. But what is wrong with that? Well, when we suppress those emotions we attempt to be positive about, we bury them inside ourselves. It may work for many people, but we are not all the same. Sometimes, it is best to sit in your room, think about the things that pain you and LET IT ALL OUT. I do not mean to bash anyone with this mentality. I mean to give understanding about those of us who "thinking positively" does not help us heal in a healthy way. As always, thank you for listening.

10m · PublishedHello! It has been a while hasn't it? Thank you for your patience and willingness to follow along with this journey. In this episode I talk about the four words that had never crossed my mind before. There are some things I wish I could have mentioned in this episode that relate to it. This includes that even if you gift someone something, you offer them your time or your effort, they do not owe you anything. The only person you should expect something in return of is yourself. Do not live an unfulfilled life by not meeting your own expectations and yet, also expecting more from others. Take responsibility for the way the non-reciprocation makes you feel and reflect on what can assist you in your own path.
Update! I will be uploading every other Thursday for now on! As always, thank you for listening. A special thank you to my close friend Donkor for always sharing his wisdom with me. I molded this in the way it helped me, and I'll always remember.

9m · PublishedSelf-discipline changed my life. Applying it and practicing its application is what has helped me accomplish many of the things I put myself up for. Once you incorporate this word into your life, you realize that its definition changes your ways of thinking and acting. So whether you need the self-discipline to clean your room, or to start that project you've been thinking of, ask yourself the two questions I talk about towards the end. If you have not already, please be sure to reach out on Instagram @MalenaMonev if you would like to talk. I'd love to hear from you! Thank you.

11m · PublishedWhen I was younger I used to think that people who would say they had high standards thought they were better than everyone else. That was younger, less confident, less self aware Lilybeth. Now, I recognize the importance of knowing and valuing your power. In this episode I talk about why we should set standards for people who would like to come into our lives and how to take the first steps. Thank you as always, much love and respect for all of you.
