Today he teaches at ICSN, an international school near Bangkok that caters to the local Thai population. He is the founder and creator of Edusfere, a website that endeavors to combine a database of the best teaching ideas and resources with the most efficient and effective lesson planning tools ever made. Lastly, he is the host of a new show where he interviews the best teachers from around the globe, aptly named "The Best Teacher Podcast."

Mike is the Head of Curriculum & Training for Logics Academy in Canada. In his prior role as a Computer Science teacher, he created a custom-made curriculum, using elements of game design and game-based learning, to captivate and engage his students. About Michael Mohammad

Mike was born and raised in Sheboygan, WI. Mike attended University of Wisconsin Madison where he received his degree in Secondary Education in Broadfield Science and Biology with additional certifications in chemistry and physics. He received his Master’s Degree in Educational Design and Technology from Concordia University. He’s been a secondary educator for 18 years, 14 of which have been at Brookfield Central High School in Brookfield, WI. At Central he has taught general science, biology, chemistry, and physics. In addition to currently teaching AP Physics, he teaches general physics in a fully inclusive classroom. His interests in education focus on putting students at the center of their own learning experience. In 2017 he received the Trailblazer Award from the Institute for Personalized Learning. He is Google Certified Educator Levels 1 & 2 as well as being an Apple Teacher. He is the lead organizer for EdCamp Elmbrook which was held for the 3rd time in March of this year. Mike is the co-author of Getting Started with Pear Deck which was released earlier this year. He lives in Brown Deer, WI with his wife.

Michael Silverstone is both a teacher and a writer. He also on the staff of the Montessori Elementary Teacher Training Collaborative based in Lexington, MA. Michael is Michael is the author of a number of non-fiction books for young people and is a writer of books and articles on education including In It Together: How Student, Family, and Community Partnerships Advance Engagement and Achievement in Diverse Classrooms (Corwin, 2015) and Raising Student Voices in Diverse Classrooms (ASCD 2019) both co-written with Dr. Debbie Zacarian.
