#47 - Kayleigh Slone
1h 15m · PublishedI’m so glad my friend Kayleigh Slone could stop by again to podcast together! 🎧🎙
Kayleigh is a RAD singer-songwriter and band leader, and has a ton of great momentum going on. 🎶
She’s got her solo career (go see her play live at Blue Owl Coffee on December 28th!). Her lyrics and hooks are awesome — you get to hear some of them in this episode! 🙌
She also now heads up the band Sloan. Alan Sloan started the band and they have rocked it at venues like The Green Door and Moriarty’s for years. Kayleigh has been with the band for about a year and has been killing it!
Alan recently moved for a job opportunity, and Kayleigh decided to keep the band going. Coincidentally, her last name is also Slone (just with different spelling 😁), so it fits! If you haven’t seen them play live, you’re simply missing out. Do yourself a favor and put a Sloan show at The Green Door in your calendar 🗓✍️
We talk about Kayleigh’s solo career, what’s in store for Sloan, and she plays a few tunes! Enjoy!
