S2. Ep 4. The Weyburn Mental Hospital.

47m · Published 23 Aug 04:00

Turn down those lights, but keep the volume on high.  You don't want to miss out on those Whispers.

The Weyburn Mental Hospital, now destroyed, once stood in Weyburn, Manitoba.
It was open from the early 1920s, but now the land sports houses. No knowing whether they're haunted, but stories indicate that the Hospital was.
Also, a crash course on liminal spaces somehow fits in at the end.

44m · Published 26 Jul 04:00

Turn down those lights, but keep the volume on high. You wouldn't want to miss out on those Whispers.
Nate and Amy Whisper are back at it again exploring the Waterfront Station in British Columbia. The Waterfront Station holds a few lingering spirits, some ghosts who are waiting to catch that train they missed... or maybe waiting for that special someone to come back to them, as it was opened around wartime. Although new technologies have been invented and brought into the new and improved rail stop, Whispers of the past can sometimes still be seen at the Intermodal Transport Station.

Nate and Amy Whisper are back with an episode about a haunted mill in Ontario. Watson's Mill boasts a horrible story of love and death and tragedy that Shakespeare would be jealous of. And- good news- it's still in existence and not illegal to visit so go visit your little heart out. Just don't forget to listen to those Whispers in your ear.

S1 Ep 22. Caledonia Mills Fire Spook.

56m · Published 14 May 16:00

Turn down those lights, but keep the volume on high. You didn't miss out on those Whispers, they're just late in uploading because Amy never knows what day of the week it is.

Join the Whispers as they explore Caledonia Mills in Antigonish Nova Scotia- a tale frighteningly similar to the stories heard in the close-by Amherst, NS story.
Is the 16 year old haunted by a ghost that starts fires or the cause of the issues herself?

S1 Ep 21. McBurney Park.

51m · Published 26 Apr 06:00

And welcome back to another episode of Nor'Western Whispers.
Turn down those lights, but keep the volume on high... we wouldn't want you to miss out on those whispers.

We're back to Ontario this week to a park. Birds singing, sun shining, kids digging up some... bones?
McBurney Park in Kingston, Ontario, has some deep skeletons in its closet. Except they aren't so deep.
Turns out it's not just the park- but a few of the residences as well since an old cemetery sprawls underneath about 4 acres in the area.
Be careful where you dig your basement.

S1 Ep 20. The St. Louis Ghost Light.

46m · Published 12 Apr 05:00

Turn down those lights, but keep the volume on high. You wouldn't want to miss out on those whispers.
This week, Nate and Amy recount the phenomenon of the St. Louis Ghost light of St. Louis, Saskatchewan.
A repeating phantom light, usually classified as a Will o' the Wisp that was known to occur almost a century ago and has been passed down through generations in St. Louis, it still carries the mystery that it did in the past.
Also, they return to stories including the good ol' Grand Funk Railway, who seemed to have their fingers in loads of pies across Canada in the early 1900s.

49m · Published 29 Mar 06:00

Welcome to episode 19 of Nor'Western Whispers!
Turn down those lights, but keep the volume on high. You wouldn't want to miss out on those Whispers.

Today, Nate and Amy explore the hauntings at the Kingston Penitentiary along with some of the history of the very old prison, located in Kingston, Ontario.

The ghosts that roam the halls are sometimes really protective, but also sometimes might be negative.
Overall, tours are still possible, but no longer are the living held in the prison against their will.
