24: No More Judging Each Other

14m · Published 31 Oct 08:40

What do we as moms tend to do more than anyone else?

We judge people.  ALOT.  Ourselves, our friends, our colleagues, even people we don't know.

And now with COVID, there is yet another excuse for people to judge the actions of others.

Don't get sucked in.  Stop judging on you or other people are handling the COVID situation.

Especially don't judge people on whether or not they are trick or treating.

Whatever decision you have made on Halloween is completely perfect for your family.

Enjoy the holiday is whatever way feels right to you.

Stay safe and well!  Happy Halloween!

20: How to Take and Return from a Vacation

18m · Published 31 Aug 17:24

Who needs a break?

We all do!

Today, I share how I learned to take and return from a vacation in a good way.  Find out what my O.C. stands for (and yes I am talking about the show, but No it is not really about the show.)

I entered my last vacation with a plan.  But then something happened that changed the outlook.

I took it as a blessing and  be OPEN.  I learned much more from the vacation doing so.

Then I returned back to work.  Feeling overwhelmed and not knowing what to do?

I decided to take CONTROL of my thoughts and actions to make returning from a vacation a marathon and not a sprint.

Remember, vacations are important!  Take them and enjoy them!

18: Being prepared in life and work

21m · Published 10 Aug 15:38

Are you a person who is always prepared for anything?

This week, I am sharing my 5 essential items you need to have in your car.  Check out my Instagram to get all the items and tips.

Here is the list for reference:

1. Emergency Kit

2. Spare Tire

3. Personal Bag

4. Back up Clothes

5. Extra food, water, and blankets.

But in today's episode, I talk about how being prepared is a great skill to have in the corporate world.  The ability to plan head and think about all the "What If" outcomes makes not only for a great colleague, but a great leader.  Moms have this skill and it is one that should be utilized and respected in the office more and more.

Even if you are not there yet, I share a simple question you can ask yourself:  "What If"

Asking yourself "What If" can help get you in the mindset to start planning ahead and being prepared for life and work's unexpected moments.
