The Momxiety Club is a podcast for new moms-whether it’s your first or fourth. We discuss real life as a mom - our triumphs, missteps, struggles, insecurities, relationships, and most importantly our worries and anxieties. We believe postpartum isn’t discussed enough and we have created this space for YOU! Get ready to listen and share openly about all things motherhood. Anxiety is such a big part of so many of our lives and we want you to know you are not alone. We are in this club together! Listen while you’re driving the kids so they nap, commuting to work, doing the never ending housework, walking/working out, showering, or anytime you need a mental mommy minute to regroup and keep being the awesome mom you are! This isn’t your average mommy advice show. We are your self-deprecating, unfiltered, and overly anxious support group. Lean on and listen in anytime you need a reminder that you are not alone.

Four ways to show yourself some love this February!

Hearts are all over the place and LOVE is the topic many are talking about this month. While I LOVE RuPaul's quote "If you can't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?" it really rings true as a mom.  Some of our self-care and self-love that we did before having kids is NOT the same as what we can do after having kids. 
So, let's talk about realistic self-care because it's time to show Mom some Love this February. 

Listen and get four easy ways you can care for yourself that don't require hours of planning and coordinating and finding a sitter.

My January 2022 Takeaways - Be Kind to Yourself

This week we are wrapping up the monthly topic of goals that won't trigger momxiety and talking a bit about the impossible demands of parenting during COVID. It's been a hard few weeks for many moms, with more and more in-person activities being canceled, virtual school days, school and daycare closures, and quarantines from potential exposures. This is an excellent article that sums it all up.  COVID Parenting Has Passed the Point of Absurdity by Melinda Wenner Moyer

My takeaways from this week:
-Be kind to yourself
-Weave in some gratitude each day
-Take each day one moment at a time
