Spewak has also covered college sports extensively as a freelance writer, producing work that has appeared in the USA Today Network, The Huffington Post, and other online media outlets. He is the author of From the Gridiron to the Battlefield: Minnesota's March to a College Football Title and into World War II, which was a finalist for the Emilie Buchwald Award for Minnesota Nonfiction in the 2022 Minnesota Book Awards.

Jennifer is a nutrition expert, registered dietitian, national media spokesperson and speaker. Other things Jennifer offers is being a corporate wellness dietitian. She is co-author of the Mediterranean Table Cookbook. She was awarded the Missouri Dietitian of the year in 2015, A-List Dietitian by St. Louis Magazine in 2014 and the St. Louis University Alumni Merit Award in 2020.
Jennifer is the mom of 3 young boys and feels most in sync when she is cooking or running. She has run several full marathons and both qualified and completed the Boston Marathon. Jennifer will never lose her passion to see people enjoy healthy, delicious food which simultaneously creates a healthier person.
