EP 34: What's Next After Your 485 Visa in Australia? Visa Options Explained!

5m · Published 15 Oct 08:45

What visa options do I have after my graduate 485 visa now that the Covid 408 Visa is being removed. Now we always knew that the Covid 408 visa was going to be a temporary measure to address the pandemic and now it will be completely removed in February 2024. There isn’t a lot of options if you have not already applied for your permanent visa. 1. If you have less than 2 years of work experience in your nominated occupation, you may qualify for the Training visa - subclass 407. You will need your employer to sponsor you in a position where you will receive training. 2. If you have at least 2 years of full time work experience then you may qualify for the temporary skill shortage 482 visa. You will need your employer to sponsor you in your nominated occupation. 3. The third option would be to go back onto a student visa if you are interested in doing further education. For more information about the Occupational training types for Training Visa (Subclass 407), feel free to check this link: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/training-407/occupational-training-types If you want to contact us regarding recruitment, you may reach out to [email protected].
