11 Sorrel Pindar with Jane Gray

19m · Published 20 Nov 10:00

Jane is a clarity coach – she and Sorrel trained together on CCT.

After taking her business in a few directions she has come full circle and is now focused on clarity and well-being. Jane has a special interest in women who feel like they have lost their sense of self, and in helping them to rediscover their true selves.

Podcast summary:

As a well-being coach myself I was really pleased to have the opportunity to interview Jane Gray who is another well-being coach rooted in the Principles.

During our conversation, Jane talks about her own journey and the work she does with women who have lost their sense of who they are. When we start to feel separate, there’s a lot of over-thinking and intense emotions. As we start to realise who we truly are, we can let go of that thinking and have more clarity about who we are and what we want to do.

Training with Jamie and coming to an understanding of the Principles has led Jane to radically change the way she works as a coach, so that she no longer worries about models and techniques and simply shows up and does what comes naturally. This allows her to create a quieter space, with room for humour.

Jane sees innate wisdom as an inner guide, a still, quiet voice, which is always there working away in the background, but we tend to take it for granted. But when we recognise it for what it is, we start to notice it more.

9 Rob Morgan with Dicken Bettinger

55m · Published 06 Nov 08:00

For those people familiar with the Principles Dicken needs little introduction. Dicken has a doctorate in counselling psychology from Boston University and retired from his psychotherapy practice after working as a psychologist for 31 years. Over thirty years ago Dicken met Sydney Banks who had an enlightenment experience where he realized the three principles that underlie all human experience. Dicken had finally found universal principles that he could teach to anyone. He was grateful to find something that was simple in nature yet had the profound effect of changing a person’s life. Dicken was able to learn directly from Sydney Banks and in 2008 he received a Certificate of Competency from Mr  Banks authorising him to teach the three principles.

Dicken co-founded and was the director of a center in Vermont that was the first center in the Northeast to teach the Three Principles.  He served as one of the original nation-wide Core Faculty and is currently a faculty member for the Three Principles Global Community.  In 1996 Dicken joined Pransky and Associates, a Three Principle-based institute in La Conner, Washington.  Dicken was instrumental in developing and teaching leadership and staff development programs for universities, hospitals, publishing companies, defense contractors, health departments, banks, and non-profit organizations. He teaches company employees what it takes to be resilient and agile in the face of today’s business challenges and rapidly changing environments.  He mentors CEOs and their leadership teams in raising the bar on their productivity, teamwork, and business success.  He also specializes in teaching individuals, couples, and families, as well as leading group seminars on the Principles and their relationship to psychological well-being.

In January of 2012 Dicken founded Three Principles Mentoring to guide individuals, groups, and organizations in deepening their understanding of the Three Principles.  He offers 4-day retreats for individuals, couples and families; Skype distance learning programs; supervision; individual coaching; group seminars; and business consultation.

Dicken enjoys public service work and has worked with refugees from South and Central America. He was an integral part of the Tibetan Resettlement Project in Vermont.  Dicken has been married for 44 years and loves teaching people about what it takes to create healthy, thriving relationships. He has two adult children and plans his day around when he can be with his two grandchildren.  He enjoys photography, hiking, canoeing,  traveling, and his golden retriever.

You can find out more and contact Dicken through his website www.3principlesmentoring.com
