Today's episode is The 1 Thing You Forget to Plan for Each Day.

With my healing journey, a life changing accident, and with having multiple autoimmune and neuromuscular diseases people often ask my how I could be so positive and happy? I prioritize my happiness as much as I do my health.

**Bear with me as I struggle with my communication (TBI/SCI), but I know someone NEEDS TO HEAR THIS - so I thought it was worth sharing**

“Gold, natural gas, and your attention: They’re all scare resources. Allocate wisely so can max out time for pleasure.”

Many people think they can’t control happiness, that you have it or you don’t. Let’s nip that in the bud. It’s like controlling your health. First, you have to believe you can before you take steps to obtain it. It’s a habit we need to build up.

Here are 16 methods to identify your happiness, to implement it, and to 1`embrace it.

  • #1 Stop Comparing Yourself
  • #2 Make happiness your goal!
  • #3 Define what makes you happy
  • #4 Prioritize it!
  • #5 Savor the small things
  • #6 Ration your time
  • #7 Think happy thoughts - even a forced smile will spark a change in your brain and change your mood
  • #8 Buy some happy - don’t underestimate life experiences
  • #9 Play around in love (aka your relationships)
  • #10 Prepare backup plans
  • #11 Find purpose in pleasure - you need a mix of joy and sense of meaning
  • #12 Think less “me” time and more “we” time - social relationships are linked to sunny people
  • #13 Go off the grid - even just planning gives you a boost
  • #14 BE NICER - commit to a few good gestures a day
  • #15 Make Sunday Future-Funday - every weekend: make plans for the next one
  • FINALLY
  • #16 Dump any plans that were supposed to make you happy, but in reality doesn’t!

Happiness doesn’t show up like a delivery - first you need to take action. As we age we realize how fleeting time is and we realize how ordinary treats bring us joy, including extraordinary one. Implementing these small steps each day are sure to help you relish in your happiness.

You have an array of weapons to use in life. If used wrong this is the most dangerous one. The mind: conscious and subconscious activity.

I want to empower your mind and body a bit more by continuing to make shifts not only in your mind and thought, but your body as well. After all, transformation happens in the mind and on the inside before the body follows. The mind is the most powerful vehicle we have. It can empower you or sabotage you. Use your mind wisely.

# 2 SNUFF OUT SELF-LIMITING BELIEFS

Here are three simple steps that you can turn to shift your limitations, fears, and be a reminder that you choose to see darkness or the light.

  • First, release yourself from any self-criticism or attack. Forgive yourself for all the ways you’ve chosen to believe in darkness. Forgive your wrongdoings, missteps, and forgive yourself for fearing light.
  • Secondly, when things go awry or a challenge/obstacle is thrown at you ask yourself, “Do I wish to see this in the dark, or do I wish to see this in light?”
  • Third, identify your core value. What is your core value, the one you wish to exist for? Define what your personal core value is.

7 Plus Years in the Making – This Launch.

Holy nervous here. This has been 7 years in the making and I’m live streaming the announcement and the first episode here on #livelifelive on Facebook and Instagram.

The signs would not let me ignore it today that today would be the day that I start. When your nerves are shaking you know you're on the right path. So, here I am announcing and launching my podcast and I figured why not live stream it while I create it. Now bear with me, this is new to me and it is going to be very raw - which I need because I am an artist, whose work is never done, and a recovering perfectionist and if I don’t do it now, do it raw, I will mull over it and who wants perfect?! So no, no opening, nothing fancy right now, but as with time everything will evolve.

This is live life by design. helping you thrive and live an abundant life regardless of your health, wealth, or circumstances.

In this first episode you will get to know me, my illnesses, my talents and the unique path that opened the way I can help serve and hopefully can bring you value.

My mission is to empower as many people as possible. I want people to thrive whether they have chronic disease, experienced trauma/abuse, a lack of education, money, or debt and to help change the trajectory of their course. If we open our minds, beliefs, and eyes there is a way to live the life we want by designing it.

I am many things, the creative and the problem solver. First of all, my background is in industrial design (aka Product Design). I am an entrepreneur. I run a successful design and coaching business, and I work within the health and wellness space. I love challenges and problem solving. I am also major advocate for chronic disease and illness. You will hear my story today and my knowledge and experience can help those who need to hear it.

Some of you may know of me, how I struggle with multiple autoimmune and neuromuscular diseases and pain for years before my diagnosis. You may know my background in design, how I started biohacking my body or maybe you only know me because you see me raving about ketones all the time or as the #KetoUPgirl. I expect many are new to me. So let’s start there.
