Oh man, does reading that title fire something up in you?! Well, if you take the time to allow this perspective to be delivered to you throughout this episode, there's a very high chance that you will receive it and the benefits that it can give you.

91. A New Tool For Hard Moments

Motherhood, marriage and liiife are constantly giving us the opportunity to think greater and develop new ways to help ourselves be who we want to be through it all.

That's what mindset work is to me. This constant focus and unraveling of who I am and what she thinks.

This new tool is one that graciously found it's way to me in the middle of a hard moment with my kiddos and goodness I have used it almost daily since then.

Put this into practice and remember that the best way to change your mindset is not picking out all of the negativity, it's flushing out the negativity with a whole new perspective!

88. Teaching People How To Treat You Through Your Chosen Responses

I love it when I have a story to share of a recent experience and that is just what I have in store for you today.

My husband baked my sourdough starter (that I have tenderly babied for a month to get going) to 300 degrees ... wowza.

Now, I could have harshly reacted and expressed disappointment on to him and justified every second of my behavior, and I didn't.

What if we didn't do what we could justify, and instead chose to do what could lead to better interactions and truly teaching others how to treat us through the way we treat them?

Ironically, I did the same thing to my sourdough starter the very next day and that is when the power of my chosen response really clicked for me.

Well, almost. First you need to do this writing exercise with me to make sure that happens.

It is natural for your mind to get looped up in negative thinking and even though it is natural, it is NOT where you belong. You can catch that you're there and get yourself out of it by starting with this writing exercise.

Grab a blank piece of paper and your favorite pen :)

If you need some S E R I O U S focus on yourself to get your mindset at a 180 degree shift, cut ties with your past that has weighed you down, break past limitations you have put on yourself and finally release the stored emotions that have gone stale... come to my REVIVE Retreat!
