This is so much bigger than giving financially; this is about a lifestyle of stewardship with our time, talents, and treasures. Ultimately, it is an invitation to a blessed life that blesses God and others.

The fifth message in this series is about returning to God. The Israelites had departed from God and given Him nine different excuses. In Malachi 3:6-12, God gives one of the greatest promises in the pages of scripture. Unfortunately, most people view giving from a negative perspective, but this is one of the most important promises in scripture.

Ultimately, the book of Malachi and this specific passage is an invitation to revival. We aren’t waiting on God; He is waiting on us to return. Tune in and decide what specific ways God is asking you to return.

The fourth message in this series is about giving God one hundred percent. In fact, in Matthew 6, Jesus says, “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.
One hundred percent is about a devoted instead of divided heart. Competition for our devotion always reveals two things: One, we need to elevate our view of God and trust His promises. Two, we need to identify the enemy’s lies and replace them with truth. This message will identify four primary temptations to compromise our commitment to one hundred percent.

The third message in this series is about seeing and understanding the role serving plays in our spiritual formation. Serving is so much more than volunteering at church a handful of hours a month; serving is a lifestyle based upon our identity in Christ.

Lastly this message will address and answer this question, “What do you want me to do for you?” This is a remarkable question. This question reveals what is in our heart, selfish ambition or divine ambition. As we work through this question together, we’ll see the example Jesus sets for us in Mark 10:45, “For even the Son of Man came not to be saved but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

It’s fairly radical to think that one of the Ten Commandments is for us to “Sabat” which means to cease, to complete, and to celebrate. Many people call it a devotional time or quiet time, but we call it a priority time because we believe it is the one priority that determines all priorities.
