On this episode I interview cartoonist, author, illustrator, and my friend, E.S. Glenn. E.S. Glenn resides in Berlin and is currently a contributing artist for the New Yorker Magazine and Huck Magazine. His book 'UnSmooth' is available wherever comics are sold and directly through him.

-This is the first time I've interviewed a friend and it was a real pleasure. It's fabulous to talk with artists and creators from around the world but when you get to pick someone's brain and they just so happen to also be a respected friend, its a different feeling entirely

Look for E.S.'s work in the New Yorker, Huck Magazine and all over social media

LA punk rock producer to the stars! Geza X, is truly punk rock royalty! He's produced tracks and records for the Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, The Germs, The Wierdos, and so many more.

But we're not talking about any of that great work!

We're talking about his fantastically unique and strange album 'You Goddamn Kids'. Released in 1982 on his own Final Gear record label. The album features a host of the LA scene's finest freaks and has some of the catchiest earworms. 'You Goddamn Kids' is a classic punk record that deserves more praise! Its loud, aggressive, hilarious, and sounds like nothing else you'll hear from that era.

We also touch on a doc that Geza is currently working on about the LA scene.

Follow him at gezaxx on Instagram and buy a reissue of 'You Goddamn Kids' asap.

Episode 9 - Heavy Metal Parking Lot...Jeff Krulik and John Heyn

1h 4m · Published 21 Feb 18:09

What's to be said about Heavy Metal Parking Lot? Well, it's infinitely entertaining, crude and also hilarious. The more conservative might find it appalling. Me...I think it's an important documentation of a subculture that really does not exist much these days. Don't get wrong though, it does make me laugh and it really triggers my urge to drink.

Jeff Krulik and John Heyn are the minds behind Heavy Metal Parking Lot and a host of other fascinating videos/shorts. We discuss Heavy Metal Parking Lot, King of Porn, Forestville Rocks, and others.

Check out their websites for links to merch and more videos!
