ReThink Mindset

A conversation with Mr. Eric Kaigama, President and CEO of Africa Chamber of Digital Commerce on the subject of the need to understand the way the mind works and how to transform it for success. 

The Free Trade Agreement has positioned Africa as the next frontier for economic development. But it is going to take a vibrant and youthful population to make that happen. Unfortunately, I believe that these youths are defective in their mindset and because of that, may not fully capitalize on his opportunity. The idea of mindset change is imperative for the African youths for them to succeed in life. It is time they begin to take a hard look at their mindsets and belief system. Redefining the meaning of success will offer these young men and women the opportunity to align themselves with their destinies.  Doing this now will become the single most important ingredient to make Africa an economic power house and will set a precedent for future generations.

Everyday we strive to be successful. Unsure of who we are and why we exist, we experiment with life hoping we will find success and ultimately fulfillment in our lives. In the quest for success, many have defined and refined success to align with their belief system and to a greater extend to what society expects of them. Yet, each day we struggle with the idea of success as we fall short of our goals and devastated by our failures. Success when understood can be achieved under the frame work and understanding of purpose, potential and principles. The six pillars of success are principles of life among many others through which success can be achieved.
