Colorism is one of those topics that many of us have been affected by, yet we fail to address or correct it, because it's common or apart of culture. Juneteenth the moment when the last slaves were freed, though we are still fighting the same battles, we still don't get treated equal, we should still take this time to celebrate being free~ish and pour back into our communities and our people, educating ourselves and our children on the greatest parts of us, not the horror stories and narratives created by white America.
