"RHINO IN THE ROOM" with Paul McKenzie on FOAM20

by Paul McKenzie

With the changing world we feel it is more fitting to call this Podcast ‘The Rhino in The room".

"The elephant in the room" is a problem that everyone knows is there but no one wants to acknowledge.

We are in challenging times, and there’s a lot to be addressed. Sadly the elephant cannot remain sitting in the corner of the room anymore. Communication requires a different approach.

Paul McKenzie, Public Speaker, and Public Correspondent will host an array of podcasts discussing everything from social issues to light hearted banter. The shows will invite guests to share their views and challenge the norms.

53m · Published 18 Feb 11:37

Empowering young people and changing lives David is part of an organisation called P4YE which is run by four friends tired of talking about the challenges that some of our Youth are facing, so they decided to do something about it.

P4YE work closely with the police and statutory bodies as the bridge between the authorities and the young people and families they engage with.

David also engages and speaks to young people in their language which is a massive facet of building a bond and trust.

His approach is that one size does not fit all and this is why they create bespoke services for each of the young people they work with.

David is passionate about building a better community. During COVID David and the team have been delivering food parcels within the community making sure the vulnerable and the homeless are looked after during these difficult times.

The organisation has featured on BBC London Radio, LBC and the Croydon Guardian. During these hard times David and his team continue to mentor and support young people and their families by delivering online workshops that help to empower them.
