Hey It’s Brooke and here’s a little secret about me…I have an unapologetic LOVE for antique shops! Sometimes I just go to look, but most of the time I don’t go home empty handed. The beauty of antique and variety shops is there is always new stuff coming in to look at. I have been to many in the Wabash Valley as you can imagine, but I don’t think I’ve been to one as inviting as Missy’s and Sissy’s Treasures where the staff is as unique and interesting as the merchandise. The Friends of Ernie Pyle WWII Museum is bringing the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall to the Wabash Valley. It will open at 9:00 AM, Friday, June 9 through 9:00 PM, Sunday, June 11. Once it opens on Friday, it will be open 24 hours/day through 9:00 PM, Sunday, June 11. This is a FREE event. Please, come honor our nation's veterans, especially those from Vietnam. Plenty of programs going on at International Paper Family Park (4840 S. County Rd. 360 E.) in Hillsdale.

Brooke had a chance to talk to Leah Allman, Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Services at Ivy Tech about free courses for High School students this summer! Kids can explore future careers while earning college credit! You can even get an associates degree before you graduate high school!
