Questioning Reality in the Quantum World

Do mysticism and science have commonalities? Can we put intention into mechanical objects and change “physical” states? Can entangled particles travel across time?

We welcome you to the premier episode of our show. Today we dive deeper into the question of what is reality and how it relates to the quantum world. We reflect on some of the key points of Newtonian approach to science which observes the objective world and is possibly denying us our human(e) value, creativity and our ability to evolve.

We will take a quick look at some key points presented in the 2019 film “The Dalai Lama-Scientist” and how science is catching up to what Buddhism has known for millennia.

You will hear an interview with Dr. Donald Weiner and his work on Relational Approach to Spirituality, examining the existence of the multiverse to subtle energies and the power of the “observer effect”.

In our segment If Not Now, When? - conversations with Alice Wyatt, she ponders the question What is Reality?

We finish our pilot episode with the explorer of inner worlds through dreams. The Innernaut in our Dreaming Into Knowing segment explains how everything is known but nothing is for certain.

Today we take a look at what is Consciousness and how it is defined by scientists and mystics. Funnily enough the answers are very different depending on who you ask.

In our science segment we take a look at criteria necessary for science to recognize consciousness.

You will hear another interview with Dr. Donald Weiner and his wife Diana where we explore the theme of consciousness together.

In our segment If Not Now, When? - conversations with Alice Wyatt, she tells the story of having Space to Breathe, Space to Be.

S01E04 What is Sincere Intention?

1h 5m · Published 09 Dec 22:45

Nameless Show E4

What Is Sincere Intention?

In this episode we ask what does sincere intention feel like in one’s body, in one’s breath, in one’s heart space?

We start by looking at definitions of sincerity and intention, and discuss a study titled “Electrophysiological Evidence of Intuition”. Julie exposes a 400-year-old lie revealed in a Harvard Business Review article, titled “The Power of Intent”.

We share a clip from Dr. Joe Dispenza who explains repeating patterns and asks us to notice our own patterns and what intent, or lack thereof is behind our actions.

We continue our conversation with Dr. W.H.S. Gebel, the astrophysicist turned counseling psychologist, who brings a unique perspective and practical instruction on how to achieve your sincere intention in life. How can we develop a relationship with our deepest selves to become our own guiding light?

Alice tells us about a hard day that turns positive, when she takes a much-needed step to clear her mind and rejuvenate her soul, in our segment If Not Now, When?

In closing we hear from the Innernaut who shows us how sincere intention to help humanity is aided by regular practice. We learn how change happens by bringing inner into outer in Everyone Breathes Differently.

1h 5m · Published 09 Dec 22:44

What is the Art of Personality?

In this episode we ask a question, what is personality and more specifically what is the art of personality?

We begin with describing the many qualities of the Ego and the main five personality traits in our science segment. We will take look at the latest research that proposes that there are only four personality types. This will lead us into a conversation of what it means to become a true human being.

We look to the teachings of Inayat Khan who wrote extensively on the Art of Personality, and do a deep dive on what makes a human being a person.

Alice Wyatt will share a story of what happens when what we are doing doesn’t fit in any of the boxes our current zeitgeist deems worthwhile, in our segment, If not now, when?

S01E06 What is Retreating to the Known Self?

1h 44m · Published 09 Dec 22:42

What is Retreating to the Known Self?

In this episode we invite you to explore what it means to retreat to the known self, back to the still quiet voice that resides in every human heart.

We’re talking with my friend and retreat guide Wendy Tremayne, an author and teacher of contemplative practices about the benefits of taking a break from the acculturated life. Wendy will give us an overview of how guided retreats are designed and she’ll tell us about a range of experiences you may have, should you choose to retreat.

In our segment If Not Now, When? Alice explores the terrible V word, vulnerability. In most cultures it is equated with weakness. She shares her own journey of vulnerability and how it saved her marriage.

In our latest report from the Innernaut we explore the only thing we ever really have, which is a relationship with our selves.

Guests:

Wendy Tremayne, is an artist, writer, and teacher of contemplative practice. She is a conceptual artist whose focus has been on the commodification of culture life. In 2006 she moved to Truth or Consequences, NM where she set out to explore a hands-on life, which led to her book, The Good Life Lab: Radical Experiments in Hands-On Living, which won the Nautilus Book Award for Sustainability and Lifestyle.

In both NYC and in NM, Wendy has been a teacher of contemplative practice (in the Sufi tradition) which includes embodiment and yoga. Her Sufi studies include a four-year undergrad program (The Suluk Academy) and several graduate level courses offered by the Inayati Order which also trained her to guide others on contemplative retreat.

Does Silence Heal Us?

In this episode we are exploring the power of silence. In order to define silence, we looked at its opposite, noise. The word noise according to some comes from Latin word nausea, literally “seasick”, or noxia “injury”.

In our science segment Julie tells us about many studies done on noise and its effects on our well-being, from hospitals to airports. We learn that silence is vital for our brain, and that it has a regenerative effect.

We continue the show in a conversation with Yaqin Aubert, a retreat guide who shares with us his take on silence. Yaqin tells us how to experience silence through stillness, breathwork, and focus.

Alice looks beneath the surface to discover a beautiful, vibrant life in our segment If Not Now, When?

The Innernaut takes us on a journey through the dream world and learns the Soul needs silence.
