Revitalize Kindness

by Dave Weaver

We are living in a “me culture” society where many take on a persona with the aid of social media of “It is my life, my thoughts, my journey, and I am more relevant than you!” I began to ask myself, what happened to people just getting along or playing nice? We just don’t appreciate each other like we used to. In a world where our businesses and public policies preach diversity, inclusion, and equity, it’s ironic that our diversity seems to be causing us to divide; it is our inclusion that excludes people of faith; our thoughts on equity are simply bringing to the forefront a new form of inequality! My hope and prayer is that Revitalize Kindness will remind us all to love one another so that we can make this a better world. I hope you all will continue to join me on this journey of loving our God and each other, while creating opportunities to share the Good News of Jesus Christ our Lord!

Mobile Worship w/guest Dylan Drye

40m · Published 18 May 23:30

What is mobile worship? Check out this episode as I speak with Dylan Drye who is making mobile worship a reality for North Carolina. We discuss the importance of worship and what Jesus says about the location of our worship. These events that Dylan is putting together, has sort of three-fold purpose: Gospel Sharing, building community, and fighting depression and other mental disorders that many of us are fighting--sadly, sometimes alone.

2020 brought a new surge of mental disorder cases and Dylan is taking on this phenomenon head on by providing an environment that is gospel driven, full of joyful noises, and love for the community! WE NEED THIS IN EVERY CITY AND TOWN!!

"93 people surveyed say that suicide is preventable. But the same people that say this aren't wiling to have a conversation, and be vulnerable, and be open, and encourage one another and reach out to one another. So it is like we are saying it is 'preventable', but we are not taking the steps to make it preventable." --Dylan Drye

Time for Reflection

22m · Published 31 Dec 05:25

2020 has been a year for the books! On this episode I discuss what direction the podcast will take in 2021. This is the best time of the year for us to reflect and reset our lives as we think about closing another chapter. Of course this doesn't make anything magically disappear or change in our lives, just thinking it. We must take action. As we move forward into another year I think it is equally important for us to be true to who we are. Be our authentic selves....Be You.
