41m · Published 16 Oct 01:35

I talked a lot about the difference between dating for fun and dating for keeps.  In other words, dating in high school and dating for marriage.  We are talking about two completely different strategies with two completely different outcomes.  Your experiences, goals and results will be almost completely opposite of each other.  So I want to give you my tips, from someone who was a serial dater, for dating for marriage and giving you all the tips you need to know to finding your spouse.

Be the Good in the World

45m · Published 12 Oct 18:36

In times of turmoil, hatred and grief, it’s important to remember there is good in the world. I recognize fully that it’s hard to see. I’m with you 100% on that. But as I’ve said before, I don’t think that there is more bad than good in the world, I just think that the bad is usually louder. But with this post, I want to ensure you there is good in the world. It’s out there way more than you think and I want us to start contributing more to it.

Focus on Your Strengths not Your Weaknesses

23m · Published 08 Oct 23:29

If you caught our post with Becoming Empowered Women, then you saw we talked about a book called Strengths Finder 2.0.  I was asked to read it when I started a new job and I was really shocked at what it taught me.  So contradicting to what I have normally heard.  Don't worry, I'm here to impart wisdom on you... Not wisdom from me, wisdom from other wisdomous people.  So let me tell you how to focus on your strengths, not your weaknesses.

Becoming Empowered Women

53m · Published 07 Oct 00:23

When I came up with She Method, I was getting ready to make it go live.  Unbeknownst to me, a friend of mine had a very similar idea that I had.  Angela and her friend Brittany also wanted to empower women just like I did.  I had a good laugh, because Angela and I have a history of having similar ideas!  And here we are again, with an alarmingly similar idea.  The great news is, we have a similar goal in mind, to empower women (including ourselves), but we have completely different ways in how we go about it.  I'm excited to welcome Angela and Brittany from Becoming Empowered Women today to the She Method.

Dating in High School, The Dos and Don'ts

28m · Published 05 Oct 02:50

My young friends, I'm reaching out to you today.  High school can and should be an amazing time!  Football games, pep rallies (do they still have those?), assemblies and of course, dating.   But, too often, I see my young friends stressing far more over dating in high school than any other experience it has to offer.  I want to help you change that by offering you the dos and don'ts of dating in high school.

Become a Better Person with One Challenge

22m · Published 27 Sep 23:48

I was talking with my mom the other day and she was expressing how sad she is seeing all the evil that goes on in the world.  I admit, it makes me sad too.  It got me thinking, though.  What are we like as people?  Are we treating others with respect, even if we don't agree with them?  Do we love others unconditionally no matter what?  Are we nice to a person's face, but say mean things behind their backs?  Today, we are all going to take a good long look in the mirror and see the person we really are today.  And with one challenge, that I'm going to give you, I'm going to show you how you can become a better person starting today.
