Today I’m interviewing Louise Dengate, Louise is an exceptional vocalist and coach but after her music degree she became a receptionist and realised it was not for her and set out to grow her music into a full time career.  It now has a Gospel choir, Teaching, Coaching and a Music Agency.  We will hear how she did it. 

With cancelled Gigs because of the Corona Virus and Lockdown she navigated by developing her passion about Psychology and the Stage and she gives us an insight into this fascinating area.

Louise is married to Alex who is also a full time musician and phenomenal Pianist.  They have two young children and today on Success Beyond The Score  we hear from Louise on how they balance attending Gigs and leading projects

Today on Success Beyond The Score Tony talks about  what it is like being a self-made Producer who  created a full time music career spanning 30 years by following his heart and navigating the industry; what it is like to be Signed;  the impact of Lockdown and tips for establishing yourself as a music producer.

Tony describes himself as being at the more mature stage of his music career where is able to consolidate things, choose the projects  he wants to work on and set the terms for his own success and how he use his time. 

Tony started music from his home. His mum taught him how to play the Guitar and other instruments.  He tried different jobs when he left school which but found he did not like them.  His passion was music much to the discontent of his father who felt making a living through music was not possible.  With no production or popular music courses in the 19902 Tony taught himself production, song writing and acquired necessary skills along the way.
