In May 2021 Ian Rivers will embark on a solo unsupported row across the North Atlantic from New York to the Isles of Scilly. Using only a sextant as the main form of navigation, this 3,100 nautical mile crossing will test human endurance, navigation and seamanship to the absolute limit. Nobody has yet completed an unsupported solo from New York.

In the episode I speak with Jessie, an Army Nurse who is part of the elite sport program, we talk about life as an Army Nurse during the covid 19 pandemic and her goals and aspirations in sport, a very dedicated individual.
