Today, I have a truly remarkable guest joining us. She's a woman whose life journey is a testament to the strength of the human spirit. 

My mom grew up facing unimaginable challenges from a very young age. Losing her father when she was just a little girl was the first of many hardships she would endure. Forced to be separated from her mother, she found herself placed in foster care and later, in a Catholic children's home. 

Despite the odds stacked against her, My mom, Raquel, found the strength to run away from Texas to Delaware, determined to be reunited with her siblings. The courage and resilience she displayed during those trying times set the tone for the incredible journey that lay ahead.

As life unfolded, she encountered more challenges, facing rocky relationships that tested her spirit. However, it was her unwavering determination and refusal to give up that pulled her through those tough times. Even when she experienced the heart-wrenching pain of losing custody of her own daughters, she never lost sight of hope and the love she held in her heart.

My mom's story is not just one of struggles, but it's a story of triumph. Her unwavering grit and resilience have been a profound source of inspiration for her loved ones, including me, who stands here today, a determined woman, molded by her mother's strength.

Today, we delve into the journey of a woman who defied all odds, a woman who taught us that even in the face of adversity, the human spirit can rise above and shine brighter than ever before.
