Finding Hope Podcast

Today I will be interviewing Linda from my cancer support group.  Linda has over 10 years of recovery from colon cancer and she was a cancer nurse that worked for many years at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta. She shares how she had to follow the same advice she gave her patients.  In the interview she shares great advice and stories from her time with cancer patients.  Through humor and a positive attitude she has become a guide and inspiration to others.  Below are a few examples of the advice she provides in the interview.

• Have a friend with you during doctor visits and ask lots of questions.
• Find humor in your journey.
• Keep a gratitude journal to log your journey.

Today I will be interviewing Peggy from my cancer support group.  Peggy is coming up on 29 years of recovery from colon cancer.  The cancer was not the most difficult thing she faced.  She shares what was the most difficult in the interview.  Cancer was a stepping stone into a new and better life for Peggy.  She shines brightly and is helping other cancer patients become survivors.  She is a blessing!

Jeanne is a long term breast cancer survivor.  She has over 20 years of recovery.  She shares her journey with having stage 4 breast cancer and how her infant son was her biggest worry at that time.  Her strong faith and macrobiotic diet helped her in her journey to overcome cancer.
