Heal, Transform, Thrive

by Peggy Galdamez

Do you think that we are on a constant journey of self-discovery, searching for ways to live more fully and authentically? This is Heal, Transform, Thrive and in this podcast, I am looking forward to sharing my conversations with you around this. As a transracial adoptee, I know my trauma has affected my life and view of world. What once was hateful, angry and dark is now filled with light. We all carry our own stories of pain and even trauma, but we also have the ability to change, grow, rediscover ourselves and uncover our own truths that will set us free to heal and live authentically.

Episode 7: Taking Energetic Responsibility for Our Lives

22m · Published 12 May 13:00

What's the difference between taking responsibility and taking energetic responsibility?

Listen in to this perspective and see what you think?

Some days I don't want to and certainly in my past, I didn't want to.  It's not pretty and it's not fun, but the benefits of freeing yourself from any energetic consequences are well worth it.

As always, feel free to share any perspective or comments with me.

Episode 5: Telling yourself the truth and having the courage to live by this

16m · Published 21 Apr 01:38

What does it mean to tell ourselves the truth? What does it mean to live by this?

Do we follow through, do we take action, or do we know what's right for us but do nothing?

Knowing what is true and right for us is one thing, but then having the courage to live by this is another.  It's not easy and I know this all too well from my own life experiences.  I am definitely a recovering people pleaser and perfectionist, but living my life out of alignment is way worse.  Not living in the truth of who we are creates so many problems.   This episode explores more around what this means and hopefully you can give yourself permission, if you haven't already to live your life according to what is right and true for you.

Episode 3: How to build our communication skill as a family

21m · Published 07 Apr 21:36

Building our communication muscle is not always easy.  It's fun and easy to talk about the good stuff, what's working well and what you appreciate about someone, but it's another story when you are talking about what you don't like.  Basically, the hard stuff is hard to talk about sometimes.

In this episode, I talk about what we have started up again with building our family communication with the end goal of learning how to do this in both the good and the not so good "stuff" to talk about.
