I loved this podcast!! It's such a privilege to be able to talk to people and record the conversation. Hayley and I went through a training programme together a few years ago and learnt a lot from it as coaches and have taken that forwards into our coaching. 

Hayley has developed a coaching philosophy that is so similar to mine and its based on  building a strong foundation of knowledge, building towards lifestyle change, understanding relationships with food and focussing on enjoying your training. 

We talk about the females face within training and also within our industry, about avoiding quick fixes and understanding but celebrating what your body can do. 

WE also rounded off talking through Hayley's experience within motherhood having recently had her first baby. Hayley has been on a great journey with this and has taken her now found values into her coaching and the support of her team too.

I have known Ben for a few years now and he is someone who undoubtedly gives 110% into everything he does, and he certainly does a lot! We started this podcast talking about his latest challenge, 31 Marathons in 31 days through December 2020. What a way to finish the year, a year that has been challenging for all. Completing 31 Marathons in 31 days in this podcast Ben discusses the mindset, the prep, the Nutriton, how the event became something much much bigger than he could have ever imagined, pain, suffering, the weather and much more. Short solo show based on calorie tracking, understanding how it works as a tool for performance and fat loss depending on your goals and then tips as to how to actually use it. 

From tips as simple as track as close to eating the food as you can in order to stay as accurate as possible and reduce any forgetfulness to how to track pre set meals/meals out. 

Tracking calories is one of many tools you can utilise to reach your health and fitness goals and using it well will not only save time but will also improve consistency and accuracy. 

#39 - Christmas Guilt and How to Approach January

I've been really keen to record this podcast because I think it has some really key take away points for so many people. 

Draw a line under Christmas as a period where you needed to destress where possible and just reduce the input in your life. We all needed a reduction in pace. 

From there we need to reflect on how we are currently feeling as to setting goals or targets or creating a road map for 2021. 

My key point on this would be only set goals if you feel in the right place to do so, as for the goals you set make sure they are 100% in your control! That is the key atm, take control of where you want to go and what you want to do.

#38- Reflecting on 2020 with Annie Nunn

Wow what an episode. Its very raw, very open and hopefully very insightful. 

Both Annie and I have leaned on each other for support throughout 2020 and the difficulties it brought both personally and professionally. Both struggling at times mentally and struggling to know exactly how to be there in the right ways for our teams. 

Annie has been on one hell of a journey this year and I am so proud that she shared some of her experiences with her Life Coach on this Podcast. A point in the podcast I think you should all listen carefully too. 

I want to thank Annie for sharing so much and for being the most incredible guest having appeared on 3 episodes now.

#35 - Self Doubt but Challenge Completed

Welcome to Series 2.... 


A short break as work opened up after the initial lockdown and now I'm ready to balance everything. 


This is just a press record and catch up following a few notes I wanted to discuss. Apologies for losing my words at the end but I wanted to keep it honest. 


The challenge I just completed 5 miles per day for 11 days is a huge thing for me, my confidence, my back, my progress and the directions I head moving forwards and I wanted to share a few thoughts on that with you. I hope you enjoy.
