Missguided Notions Podcast

by Sandrine Etienne

Often people go through life changing experiences without any guidance. What if you had the tools to help you in your journey? Our mission is to create a space where we discuss thought provoking topics with people that go through real life experiences. My goal is to inspire, empower and help build awareness to a number of issues that our society doesn't really talk about. Listen in, engage in conversation and if you'd like share your story.

Burnt: Efficient Ways To Cope With Stress

22m · Published 30 May 12:00

This is a Solo episode featuring your host Sandrine Etienne. I am discussing all things related to burnout, offering effective ways to deal with stress when symptoms present themselves. It's important that we recognize the signs of burnout because they can lead to even bigger issues with regard to your health and wellness. The World Health Organization recently classified burnout as a medical diagnosis but it's related to work, however it is important to understand that burnout can also exist in non work related settings. A lot of times we all go through life stressors that can cause significant bouts of burnout which can intensify when we add work into the mix.
