Denise Bossarte, a survivor, poet, artist with a PhD in developmental neuroscience talks with us about healing in a pandemic as well as her new release book “Thriving After Sexual Abuse: Break Your Bondage to the Past and Live the Life You Love”. We discuss various practices and tools that have worked for survivors and the importance of looking at the small things and taking chances as well as the importance of the survivor community in our healing journeys.

Guest: Cartoonist, Glenn Head, discusses the relationship between trauma, healing and art as well as his soon-to-release graphic novel memoir "CHARTWELL MANOR" which details his two years at the now-defunct Mendham, NJ, boarding school that was run by a serial sexual and physical abuser of young boys.
