Episode 7: Let’s Talk about Sex Baby!

12m · Published 12 Nov 04:12
This episode is audio from a spontaneous YouTube video I posted discussing some highlights from a podcast I watch. It was referring parents and kids having “the talk”. Meditation Episode 2: Guided Meditation prior to conflict resolution

8m · Published 11 Nov 07:13

This meditation is designed to help you regulate your emotions and check in with yourself either following a conflict or prior to a confrontation with a member of your family, be it child, spouse, etc. (I do apologize for the audio mishap around the 3rd segment. I could not figure out how to edit it out.)

Emotional regulation is something not spoken about very often and is lacking in a major way in family conflict resolution. So I hope you give it a listen if you are experiencing some rough patches within the household or maybe even before conflict arises. Prepare your mind for what may come and be ready to reason with yourself and be mindful.

If you or someone in your family has difficulty with managing anger or other emotions that may be causing extreme stress, please seek professional help. There are many free or extremely affordable options in most major cities or contact your insurance provider for more guidance.

Mental health is just as important as physical health. Be kind to your mind and give it the support it needs.

This episode's art work is courtesy of my daughter, Sam. This is Sherry, one of her caricatures that she created. She bases them off of her friends. Very cute! Sam is a freshman in high school. She loves animals, especially cats, and enjoys listening to music to clear her head.
