Episode 49-Physical Preparation for the Special Forces with Josh Fletcher
1h 14m · PublishedIn episode 49 of the Platform to Perform Podcast I spoke to Josh Fletcher on physical preparation for the special forces. During his time working as Human Performance Manager for EXOS Josh was tasked with two primary objectives for the Romanian Special Forces:
1. Setting up a high performance program from scratch
2. Creating a coach development pathway capable of continuing the results of goal number 1
In today’s podcast Josh and I discussed:
· A needs analysis of special force operators and military personnel
· The top indicators of success and failure in the special forces
· How Josh battled the logistics of -15°c temperatures and training up to 189 non-English speaking recruits to modernise the physical preparation of the Romanian Special Forces
