Lisa Miller, Ph.D., is the New York Times bestselling author of The Spiritual Child and a professor in the Clinical Psychology Program at Teachers College, Columbia University. She is the Founder and Director of the Spirituality Mind Body Institute, the first Ivy League graduate program and research institute in spirituality and psychology, and has held over a decade of joint appointments in the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University Medical School. Her innovative research has been published in more than one hundred peer-reviewed articles in leading journals, including Cerebral Cortex, The American Journal of Psychiatry, and the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Dr. Miller is Editor of the Oxford University Press Handbook of Psychology and Spirituality, Founding Co-Editor-in-Chief of the APA journal Spirituality in Clinical Practice, an elected Fellow of The American Psychological Association (APA) and the two-time President of the APA Society for Psychology and Spirituality. A graduate of Yale University and University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her doctorate under the founder of positive psychology, Martin Seligman, she has served as Principal Investigator on multiple grant funded research studies. Dr. Miller speaks and consults around The Awakened Brain and The Spiritual Child for the US Military, businesses (including tech, finance, HR and sales), personal development, faith based organizations, schools and universities, and for mental health and wellness initiatives.

Don Faul is the CEO of CrossFit, the world’s most effective program for improving health and performance through nutrition and exercise. Prior to joining CrossFit in August 2022, Don served as CEO at Athos, a next generation smart clothing company focused on building better athletes. Before Athos, Don held leadership roles at multiple Fortune 500 companies including Pinterest, where he led community outreach, international growth, and business partnerships as head of operations; Facebook, where he built and led the company’s global user, developer, and payments and risk operations teams as vice president of online operations; and Google, where he built and managed the operations supporting merchants using Google’s commerce and payments products.

Don started his career as a Marine Infantry Officer, serving as a Platoon Commander with 1st Light Armored Battalion and 1st Force Reconnaissance Company. Don completed combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq before leaving active duty in 2003. Don graduated with Honors from the United States Naval Academy with a BS in Systems Engineering and received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Don currently sits on the board of Nuru International, a nonprofit focused on battling extreme poverty through sustainable development efforts, and More Perfect Union, a veteran-led organization focused on civic education, leadership development, and community service to bring Americans together. In his free time, Don enjoys reading, being a soccer dad, and (obviously) doing CrossFit.

She is currently a partner physician at Boston IVF where she has spent the last 15 years practicing as a Reproductive Endocrinologist specializing in infertility and hormonal physiology in reproductive age and menopausal women. In 2024 she plans to retire from Boston IVF and launch her own practice in Women's Performance Endocrinology and work full time pursuing her lifelong passion in the world of fitness and sport.

She’s competed at the CrossFit Games both as an individual and as a member of team NorCal CrossFit.  She’s also a former affiliate owner, former Seminar Staff flowmaster and has worked in various capacities for the CrossFit broadcast and media team.

 

These days, she’s a CrossFit Level 4 trainer and the co-founder and CEO of Street Parking, which is an at-home workout community.  She’s also a wife, and a busy mom of 3 boys under the age of 6.

CrossFit Legend Annie Thorisdottir on the Will to Win PH271

Annie Thorisdottir is one of the most decorated and recognizable athletes in the sport of CrossFit.

Annie is an 11-time CrossFit Games competitor with six podium finishes, including back to back first place finishes in 2011 and 2012, and a third place finish just one year after giving birth to her daughter.  Most recently she switched to team competition, finishing 4th with team CrossFit Reykjavik at the 2022 CrossFit Games, and has her sights set on a 12th CrossFit Games appearance in 2023.

Adrian Bozman, known to many as “Boz,” has been a staple figure in the CrossFit community for over a decade.   Since starting CrossFit in 2004, he’s worked as a coach, a garage affiliate owner, a Seminar Staff flow master, and a CrossFit Education department member.  Most notably, he served as the longtime CrossFit Games head judge until this year, when he was selected to lead the programming for the 2022 CrossFit Games.
