S8 Ep34: Oliver Tompsett, Ramsey in In Dreams

32m · Published 09 Jul 23:00

Oliver Tompsett is playing Ramsey in the world premiere of In Dreams at the Leeds Playhouse.

Using the iconic music of Roy Orbison to tell a modern story, In Dreams reunites Oliver with some of the creative team behind & Juliet, including writer David West Read and director Luke Sheppard.

Oliver is one of the busiest actors in musical theatre right now. Fresh from originating the role of Shakespeare in & Juliet – and staying with the show for the entirety of its West End run – Oliver jumped straight into the West End production of Pretty Woman to star as Edward for the final few months of its run at the Savoy.

Some of Olivier's other West End credits include playing Fiyero in Wicked, Drew in the original London cast of Rock Of Ages, Galileo in the final Dominion cast of We Will Rock You, Sky Masterson in Guys & Dolls and Charlie Price in Kinky Boots.

In Dreams runs at the Leeds Playhouse until Saturday 5th August 2023. Visit www.leedsplayhouse.org.ukfor info and tickets.
