Welcome back! We're back with the second episode of our guide through the ghosts of Shepherdstown! Alyson gets spooked (as always), Nick looks sad, and Jennie looks for familiar places.  Enjoy the episode! Also known as the MOST haunted town in all of America. In fact, it’s so haunted it has its very own TV show. That’s right, we’re bringing you an in depth analysis of the first episode of Ghosts of Shepherdstown. From croissant grudges to random baby shoes, we tell you all about the ghost hunt and our thoughts on the “creative liberties” taken. Join us for some coffee and cryptids! 

Welcome to Folk-Yeah, a podcast that is not about conspiracies at all. Except when we want to be about them. Which is almost every episode. Fortunately, we back up our conspiracies with actual science and hard data. Just like the Sodder family, who only wanted a real answer for what happened to their children and were determined to get one. Naughty children beware: Krampus and Gryla are here. Jennie and Alyson leave Appalachia once again to tell the tales of a German Christmas demon and Iceland's horrific Christmas witch. Be careful: that Christmas magik might be more sinister than you think!

Wine, a paranormal murder mystery, and the proper way to spell fiancé. Alyson has passed the bar exam and is celebrating by telling her favorite ghost story: The Tale of the Greenbrier Ghost. Listen as Alyson nerds out about this ghostly testimony and Jennie constantly interrupts. Just remember, everything you say can and will be used against you (but none of that is legal advice).

Happy Halloween! If you haven't caught on, Jennie and Alyson love all things spooky.  That's why they went a little outside of Appalachia in this episode to give you some Irish folklore! Jennie gives the spooky history of the jack o'lantern, which you have to see to believe.  Alyson is back with more family ghost stories (they seem to be endless at this point). And it wouldn't be Samhain without some witchcraft! Alyson finishes the episode with a tarot reading for the listeners.  If it resonates, be sure to slide into those dms!
